Disneyland

This past week we went to Disneyland. Even though it was the boys third trip there it felt like Landon's first. He was so excited he couldn't sleep and was wild the whole ride down. Madelyn was a perfect little angel the whole time.

The first day(Monday) it was 99 degrees. It was sooo hot coming from cold Utah. The heat was too much for all of us and we ended up not staying too long. The temperature dropped about twenty degrees the next day which made it much more enjoyable. Tuesday we decided to take Landon on his favorite ride from the last time, Snow White's Scary Adventure. He hated it and said he never ever wanted to go on that ride again. We watched the Pixar Play parade. They had changed it since the last time we went. They added water. Landon and Maddie did not enjoy that addition. On Wednesday we got the kids up early and got there before it opened so we could have a chance at getting on the new Nemo ride. Maddie and I ran over there and were able to get a really good spot in the line. We liked the ride but I wouldn't want to wait in a 45 min + line for it. We stayed for the parade on Wed. Landon was so tired while we were waiting for it to start that he laid down on the road. The kids enjoyed the parade but said they liked the Pixar one better. Thursday, our last day, we rode all our favorite rides. Unfortunately that meant riding Winnie the Pooh several times. We also went to the Jedi Training Academy. Tanner was picked and was able to fight Darth Maul. Tanner's favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. Landon's favorite was Winnie the Pooh and Madelyn loved the carousels the most. It was a fun trip!
