Fall Break 2015

    The kids got three days off for Fall Break this year. Dave was able to take the Friday and Monday off making for a fun four day weekend! After lots of thinking and voting we decided to go to Hee Haws on Friday. It ended up being a great choice. All the kids had lots of fun. We played for a few hours and enjoyed one of the last warm days of the year.

Everybody's favorite part was this big slide! We went down several times until the line started getting too long. Grayson loved it so much and was super brave and didn't care who took him on it.

    They have an area where you can go in and walk around with the animals and pet them. All the kids except Hannah enjoyed this. She cried and hung out with Dad outside of it.

  Now that is one unhappy horse!

    The Silo slide wasn't as much fun as the big slide which is why it probably didn't have a line at all. It was a little rough as you can tell from the pictures.

  So yeah they have a corn box to play in. Not sure I like this idea but the kids had fun.

  Grayson didn't love it. He opted to sit with Dad on the bench petting the friendly cat.

  I didn't think the boys would go on the animal train but I guess they don't care they are big kids now.

    We got to go on a fun little wagon ride.

   Grayson is going through an anti-selfie phase. Hope he gets over that one quick!

   We went on a second wagon ride to a corn maze and pumpkin patch. The kids loved searching the patch for pumpkins. So much more fun then just buying them at the grocery store.

 After Hee Haws we went to the cabinet shop and got all cleaned off. like seriously Dave used the compressor and blew all the straw and stuff off of us. We then headed to the Pizza Factory for a late lunch. It was good times and good food.

    After lunch we headed to the mall to go to the Lego Store. Dave had his eye on a Christmas Lego and he wanted to get the Lego advent calendars. Well as usual Dave went a little crazy and got everybody legos. The clerk was all excited about our total it was funny!

    We stopped at The Sweet Tooth Fairy on the way home and everyone got a cupcake(well except G, he got a cake bite). Well since I didn't get a lego I got two cupcakes,lol! They were the perfect way to end a pretty perfect day!

  On Sunday we spent our evening making applesauce as a family. I love that the kids enjoy helping make it!

On Monday our big plans were going to the movies. We went and saw Hotel Transylvania 2. The weather wasn't nice like Friday so I'm glad we did our outside activity then. Fortunately the theater wasn't full because Grayson didn't love the movie. He got restless and tried taking off. I had to move around a bit with him but we made it through. He did learn to say "blah, blah blah" like Dracula from it. Too cute!

   Lots of good memories were made over Fall Break!!!
