One and a Half for Mr G!

     All of a sudden my baby is not much of a baby anymore! He is starting to think he is a big kid just like his siblings! Well today is his half birthday so he is officially 18 months old! That means he gets to go to nursery at church. I took him last Sunday since we were close enough and I wanted him to get used to it. I figured I would just hang out in there the whole time while he became comfortable. Well I stayed a half hour but then he seemed to be doing so well I slipped out! I hung out by the door waiting for him to cry(another boy who was starting kept crying every time he realized his mom left). Well the minutes ticked away and no crying! So I headed off to my class and texted Dave to go peek in on him. Well the kid ended up doing just fine...no crying!!! I guess the real test will be this Sunday when we go again.
      So Grayson LOVES being outside! After lunch and before nap time if the weather is nice I will take him out to play. We usually just hang in the back yard but as long as he has a football and some trucks to play with he is happy. He also loves wagon rides and coloring with sidewalk chalk when we are outside.
       Last week he had his check up at the Dr. He weighs 22.5lbs and is 32in tall. The dr also scores areas of development. At his 12 month visit Grayson was not doing so hot in gross motor. The crazy thing is if we had gone just two days later he would have gotten a higher score. But anyway this time he got a perfect score! In fact all his scores are way above the cutoff so he is doing awesome! He has really taken off these last few months! He was slow to start walking but now he is running!
        Grayson just recently got his upper canine teeth which means he has 16 teeth! He only has his second molars left and I am guessing with the way he teeths they will be here soon. So the funny thing is a couple weeks ago Grayson started biting his siblings. I was thinking "Oh great he becomes a biter just before starting nursery!" Well then one day he bit a hamper and started crying and I looked in his mouth and saw the canines cutting. So turns out he isn't a biter after all he just was doing it because of teething.
         So active little 18 months olds aren't interested in pictures. So instead of doing a shoot with him I just snapped pics of him doing his thing :)

   Grayson is pretty well loved by his siblings! He is pretty lucky to have two big brothers and two big sisters that just love him so much. He gets lots of attention! He is a pretty cool kid and I'm so glad he is in our family!
