One of the best things about August is {Two Buck Tuesdays} For the last three years now we have enjoyed hitting the dino museum when it isn't so expensive. So for $6 the four of us got in(Maddie is free...too bad she is turning three soon). This year the line wasn't even all that long which was nice.
Maddie refused to do anything dirty. So we just watched the boys play. She did however really want a picture on this dinosaur. Sadly we had to wait 5 minutes to get it. I couldn't believe there was actually a line for this guy.
Then later that week we went to Tracy Aviary for the first time. It was cool but probably no need to go there again.
The best part was probably the bird show. It was nice since it was such a small theater. Maddie wanted to sit really close to the action.
Too bad she wasn't there when this guy was.
On our way to the exit Maddie started crying and didn't stop until she fell asleep in the car. Turns out she was running a fever and not feeling so good. It was weird since 2 minutes before the crying she was running around having fun.

One Saturday Dave didn't work(miracle I know) and after sleeping in we headed to Park City to do a little back to school shopping. Then we went to the Dairy Keen(train place) for a late lunch/early dinner. Maddie LOVES this place. Since the food, esp the fries, aren't as good as the surroundings we don't go there that often. Then we headed home through the canyon. We stopped at Bridal Veil Falls. We even let the kids be all white trash and play in the water. The boys were soaked and even a little muddy by the end. Oh and Maddie picked out her shirt, I guess she is ready for the basketball season to start.

The kids were making friends on the way back to the car. I like the pic since M & T are holding hands. They can be pretty cute sometimes, well if you ignore the mud on T's bum.
