Summer Recap: July

We went to Farm Country one morning. I decided keeping track of three kids was too easy and brought three extra along. It was a little crazy, mostly just because one of the three was Tanner's best friend, Thomas. The three boys can get a little wild when they are together. We had fun though, and even stopped for ice cream on the way home. Maddie's first time successfully riding a pony there.

We headed up to Henefer on the fourth to celebrate with the Fowles clan. The boys had lots of fun on the inflatables. Maddie only made it down the big slide once and she was done. It may have had something with Tanner pushing her down head first.

The kids talked me into setting up the pool. It was hot outside but not in the pool. The water was freezing.

We switched Maddie to a big girl bed this month. I was worried that she wouldn't sleep as much or I would have trouble getting her to take a nap. But nothing changed. She was pretty excited about the new bed.

And to finish up July we went on a hike in Alpine with the neighbors. The kids had fun exploring and we came home with a ton of sticks...which I eventually snuck into the trash.
