The end of the school year is always so busy! I always loved the dance festivals at Harvest so I was excited that Black Ridge also planned to make that a tradition. Black Ridge doesn't have as good as a set up for audience seating but our Principal is smart and came up with a great way to make it work. Each grade performed twice. Once facing one way then they turned around and did it again.
So Tanner being Tanner actually volunteered in the sixth grade practice to stand on the stage and demonstrate to the whole sixth grade how to do their dance! Much braver than his Mom.
After the dancing we had a picnic lunch and then watched the kids play!
Maddie's teacher did a cute little end of first year program. She gave all the kids awards. Maddie got "Mathlete" since she is so awesome at math!

The same day as Maddie's program was Tanner's sixth grade graduation. I didn't know what to expect. Harvest didn't really do much of anything but they did awards, handed out diplomas and treats afterwards.

The last day of school! I took a pic of the kids before they headed off for their hour of school to compare to the one from the first day.
