Some June Highlights

June was a busy month.  I tried to squeeze some fun in with the birthday parties I was planning and doing.


Dinosaur Museum

The day of Tanner's little accident we had planned to go to the Dino Museum(we finally got a Thanksgiving Point membership). Tanner was worried that we would cancel because of his injury. While waiting to get the staples that was all he could ask about. Luckily the Dr thought it was fine so we still went.

 City Days

    Dave took the kids to our city's parade. It was nap time so Hannah and I hung out at home. Notice the pink bunny. She is Bunny the Bunny and pretty much a member of the family. Not only did she need her own seat at the parade but she has her own seat in the car and always gets buckled in. Watch for her in some future blog posts :)

Hike

   We headed up American Fork Canyon with the Lindsay's for a little hike. The weather down in the valley was crazy windy but in the canyon it was just a little breezy. The kiddos were mostly tough and we had a lot of fun. After the hike we found a picnic spot and grilled some hot dogs for dinner. Random side note...on the way home Dave got a call from our neighbor in the High Council wanting to meet with him the following morning. And as we suspected Dave was released from his calling as Ward Executive Secretary after three long years :)

 Landon made a little friend on the hike. He caught this little guy and just kept his hand closed not wanting to lose him. We finally convinced him to open his hand and show us the butterfly and then it turned out he liked L and rode along on him the rest of the hike.

Farm Country

      The kiddos and I headed to the farm one day. And yes we love our pass!

We bought 3 quarters worth of animal food and the kids gave it all to this lucky guy.

It was Hannah's first time on the farm and she really enjoyed checking out all the animals.


Maddie made a new friend at the duck pond. This was as close as she would go.

So these horses weren't too sure about Tanner. Every time he walked by they would neigh at him. He would scream and then Hannah would bust out laughing. He of course had to walk by them several times.

 This is Landon's chicken friend. They enjoyed bokking (sp?) at each other.

Finally a Bear!

    Tanner worked really hard to get his bear. He finished it in April and should have gotten the award back then but since he and one other kid were the only ones getting awards they skipped it. In May once again the awards got skipped so FINALLY in June they gave him his bear.
