A Surprise 60th

Dave's Mom, Nancy, hit the big Six-Oh last month so we decided to throw her a little surprise party. It worked out that the Sunday after her bday, Father's Day would be the best day to do it. So after some secretive planning and memory book making(on my part) we all showed up at their church.
Our family along with Grandma Fowles arrived first. We went and found a spot in the chapel and waited. When Nancy walked in she was definitely surprised to see us and had a big smile on her face. She came over and talked to us...mostly about whether or not she had enough food for us. She had talked herself in to going home to get a loaf of bread out of the freezer but I told her no. She then realized that we were spread between a couple pews and asked if we needed to save seats for anyone. Dave lied and made up some reason for why. And then a second later Camille and fam walked in followed by Matt's family and Nancy was super surprised and excited. Though she still had no clue that we were there to celebrate her birthday, Father's day and Roger's recent surgery were great covers.
Well since Nancy teaches primary all the girls were able to sneak out after Sacrament meeting to go back to the house to decorate and get dinner ready.  Thanks to Camille's awesome stalling skills we were able to get everyone home and ready to yell surprise before Nancy got back from Church.
So anyway the party was a blast and we had a great day with family!

Waiting...

Surprise!
