Still Breathing

Out of my three kids which one do you think is at risk of swallowing a quarter? Maddie right? I mean seriously the boys are too old to be worrying about swallowing little things. Well wrong. It's Tanner. The boy is weird that way, he just puts strange things in his mouth. Like the reason his first tooth got loose had to do with a shoelace and some free time(aka sharing time). So anyway my brother Matt got in town yesterday. As usual Landon hit him up for some money so he gave the boys each a quarter...he even let them pick which state they wanted. Landon took Washington and Tanner wanted Minnesota. Right after that my sister asked Tanner to go get her a drink of water well when he came back he was clutching his throat and looking a wee bit stressed. He then announces he swallowed a penny. Matt corrects him and we realize he has actually swallowed a quarter. Tanner thinks it is stuck in his throat. So the panic starts...ok not really Dave gets Tanner a drink and my sister goes and gets my mom (former nurse) and we get Tanner to drink some water and eat a little bread. After a little bit he seems normal again. And the jokes start something to do with a human piggy bank and stuff. So Tanner appears to be okay and so far this hasn't cost me any money but I did go in his room late last night just to double check that he was still breathing.
