The Rest of April

The Friday of spring break we wanted to do something fun since Dave was still off work so we took him to the Living Planet Aquarium for the first time. Turned out lots of people had the same idea and it was just crazy busy. It was still fun just a little harder to enjoy it.

What a good Big Bro!

The girls and I headed to the Tulip Festival with my sister and niece one morning. Maddie of course loved all the flowers and Hannah was just happy to be outside. That afternoon when Tanner found out where we had been he was pretty jealous so since our admission was good for the whole day I decided to take the boys(and the girls again) that afternoon.

Maddie's legs got tired but Lily was nice enough to share her stroller

Landon took at least 50 pics of flowers and plant life.

Luckily for the boys things worked out one afternoon that we could go to the big grand opening of the new park in our city. They were really excited because a Jazz player was coming. We got there early which was good because Landon was able to get a Jazz Basketball. The boys ended up meeting Josh Howard. And even though I was only standing maybe 3 feet away from Howard while the boys met him with my camera I couldn't get a picture since the battery was dead.

They did have a lot of fun getting Howard's and Bear's autographs but Tanner's favorite part was playing basketball with Howard Jr and dunking on him :)

Not the famous dunk, but an almost dunk

We also had our annual Fowles Family get together at the school that Dave's dad teaches at. It was nice this year that we were all healthy(Maddie had pneumonia last year) and could go. The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins and doing all the activities that Grandpa Roger had for them.

The kids all love riding around on these carts

Hannah attached herself to Aunt Camille.
Dave and I think Hannah's personality is like Camille's so we weren't surprised she loved her!

Maddie loves Sami and wishes she could see her more!
