The boys decided catching bees and all other sorts of bugs was great fun. They even got some friends in on it. Surprisingly only one kid got stung.
We were able to visit with Dave's Grandma one Sunday. It also happened to be the day of the annular solar eclipse. Dave rigged a viewing apparatus so we could all safely watch. Turns out is was too cloudy at home to see it so we were lucky to be there.
Tanner participated in the Raingutter Regatta again this year. He did a better job constructing his boat "RMS Titanic". Despite it's name it was actually one of the best ones there. It didn't sink or flop over like most of them but sailed right through. Tanner was one of the only kids to not
Maddie just loved preschool these last few months(she started in January). To celebrate the end of the year her preschool teacher had all of her classes get together and put on a little program. It was during school time so only Dave, Hannah and I got to go. It was pretty cute!

Since her hair grew in Maddie has always had long hair. She has always loved long hair and said she wanted to grow it out as long as Rapunzel. But then one day she decided she wanted it short. She kept begging me to take her to get her haircut. I told her she could after her preschool program and sure enough the very next day she expected it.

For Memorial Day we went and hung out with some of the Fowles at Grandma's.

The boy's school decided to make the dance festival a tradition so once again on the last day we went and watched it. It was pretty good. I think last years was better(song choice). I'm actually worried for next year because 4th grade's song was well on the lame side. Anyway we survived(the festival & the school year). Hannah even fell asleep during it, she was sick though.
