Christmas

After the grandparents left on Christmas Eve we went and drove around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. We had heard there was a house that did the music thing with their lights. Well we could find no such house. After that Dave read the story of Christ's birth and the kids acted it out with a nativity. Maddie was happy to finally get to be Mary.

 
After that the kids exchanged gifts. The boys had done their shopping at Santas Secret Shop at school and actually done really well. I had the kids say something nice about the person before they gave them their gift. Landon thinks everyone is nice.

Then it was time for the traditional pj gift.

And then time for our last book.

Santa must have known how much these two love basketball. And lucky them the weather has been so nice they have gotten lots of play time in.

Landon was so excited to give this to Dave. Tanner gave him the same thing last year, gotta love grades having set gifts they do every year.

We went up to my parents house Christmas evening.

On the way home that night we tried a different neighborhood(our Bishop had heard about) for a musical light display and actually found one. It was a fun end to the day.
So that is it, Christmas is over. I was happy to put away all the decor New year's eve even hough no one wanted to help me.
