Dave has been nagging me since getting back from their little trip to blog about it, guess they had a lot fun or something. Dave and the boys headed up to the Uintas and met up with his parents and brother & fam. On a random side note, some of our neighbors ended up being in the camp spot next to Dave. They left on Wednesday and didn't get back until Saturday evening. I of course opted out of the trip since I was 36 weeks prego.

So maybe the canoe wasn't such a bad deal, the boys loved being out on the water in it. Probably their favorite part of the trip.

The boys "saved" three little fish. The were in a little puddle that was no longer connected to the creek and was about to dry up. They wanted to bring them home but Grandpa Roger convinced them it would be better to find a calm spot of the creek to relocate them to.

Lando with one of the 3 fish he caught. Tanner and Dave only caught one each. And yes they brought them home for Sunday dinner...I ate chicken.

So what did Maddie and I do with all that time. Well we started with a trip to Wheeler farm for a picnic and some duck feeding. The ducks loved Maddie and Maddie loved the ducks, good thing we brought a half a loaf of bread.
We played in Maddie's new pool.
And well that was about it since the goofy girl got sick. So it ended up just being some nice peaceful time with just the two of us. She did feel well enough Saturday to hit two baby showers with me. She even really liked going. I think it made her feel kind of grown up.
