We signed both the boys up for basketball this winter. It's the first time for both of them. The best part is that 1st and 2nd graders play together so they are on the same team. This is the only time that will ever happen so I am loving every second of it. So anyway they have had three games so far and they are just loving it. The day of their first game they woke up at 6 something because they were so excited to play. Luckily that was a one time thing. That game was pretty funny. Landon pretty much jumped around excited and hyper the whole time and never even touched the ball. Fortunately the boys have improved each game.
In this past Saturday's game Tanner not only was dribbling the ball all around he scored his first basket. Turns out he wore his official NBA socks that day. Back when this happened Tanner claimed all of Harpring's socks and he wears them occasionally. So now Tanner thinks the socks are lucky and he plans to wear them every game. He is probably the only kid on the court wearing socks an NBA player wore. But whatever makes him happy.
