There are so many fun and wonderful things to do at Christmastime! We did a lot but not everything I would have loved to do. This was our first year in our new city and turns out to start out the season they have Santa and Mrs. Claus drive through all the neighborhoods on a fire truck. The tricky part is you don't know when your neighborhood will get visited. All five kiddos were excited to see Santa!
Later we headed over to Thanksgiving Point to meet some of Santa's reindeer. The weather was super nice for December. Hannah loved the reindeer so much she cried actual tears when we left.
We hadn't been to Temple Square for years to see the lights. One night we met Dave at work and headed over there. The kids loved seeing all the lights. We also enjoyed some hot chocolate there even though it really wasn't all that cold.
We made lots of Christmas cookies! The kids love to help decorate.
Santa came early this year for a visit. On December 14th we went to Susan's in laws house for dinner and a visit from Santa. Susan married in to an awesome family. They are really nice people and our so sweet to include us in this fun tradition. Santa talked to the kids and sang some songs to them and then he pulled a present out of his bag for each of them!

Can't believe Santa stole G's paci and used it?!
Hannah REALLY wanted frozen toys
I got to visit both girls dance classes for a short little dance.
Isn't Hannah the cutest little dancer?!
A dance teacher moved Hannah and it made her cry :(
I got a gingerbread house kit for the kids to put together and decorate. It may not look the greatest but they had fun! I tried really hard to get a picture of them all but they just couldn't cooperate so I gave up and took one of the house by itself.
We learned that Grayson loves trains! He loved to sit by the Christmas tree and watch the train go by. This was a great way to keep him entertained.
Christmas Eve
Getting ready to read about Christ's birth
Traditional PJ's
Gotta love Landon's face?! Grayson was so cute in it though!
Christmas Morning
waiting to go down!
Did NOT wait!
Every year I give the kids Mommy-made gifts. This year I made Tanner a towel, a quilt for Maddie's new doll, and rice bags for Landon and Hannah.
The aftermath
We headed over to my parents house after everyone got ready. After a warm December we finally got some snow on Christmas!
Grayson was more interested in the bag
Hannah wasn't the only one excited for her new play-doh
Tried to get a pic of the kids in their Sunday best but yeah they aren't the most cooperative.
