At the very beginning of the summer we got out a white board and made a huge list of everything we wanted to do this summer. The summer seemed so long and then next thing you know it's August and we haven't done hardly anything on the list :( So we tried to squeeze some fun in before it was back to school time.
We hit the zoo a couple times since our passes were about to expire. We were excited for the train to be open again...finally!
Tanner got two free passes to the children's museum so we took the whole family up one Saturday. It was lots of fun and yes the boys are in to it just as much as the girls.

Zoo trip with cousin Lily and Susan. It was supposed to rain but we decided to go anyway. Well it didn't end up raining, it wasn't hot though, so the kids decided they still needed to get wet :( The news was there and Tanner tried really hard to get on but in the end only Susan did.
| Grayson was a good sport |
| The guy talked us into letting Grayson go on a pony ride. Not sure he even realized he was riding anything. |
Just some random sweetness of my two littles.
We went to Museum of Natural Curiosity. This is the kids new favorite at Thanksgiving Point. I love that we can go whenever we want. We really love having an annual membership and use it quite a bit.
So August ended up being a bit lame in the weather department. It was cloudy and cool instead of sunny and hot. We had made plans to go to a splash pad with Susan and Lily and then the weather was lame. We decided to go anyway and practically had the place to ourselves. Of course the kids got cold but they still had fun!
Dave took the 4 oldest and met up with his parents and Nate for some camping and fishing. I loved my time alone with Grayson and Dave and the kids had lots of fun in the outdoors. Maddie even caught a fish!
