December Overload

December more than made up for the lack of pictures in November. It was a busy busy month.

Yes Virginia Play

The boys participated in their first play. They spent a lot of hours practicing and didn't always want to go but it was totally worth it. Oh and they enjoyed it too. They each played a Santa, a New Yorker and an orphan.

The Big Reveal...

We didn't hit the mall this time to find out the gender. Dave and I were thinking about not finding out. But the kids wanted to know and well with the move it would be good to know and besides I was 99% sure it was a boy anyway. Tanner requested I make a cake to let them know.

We paid Dozy and Grandma a little visit. Dozy hid from us most of the time.

Tanner was the one missing her the most

Shoveling snow can be pretty dangerous...
Tanner swung his shovel a little too high and poor Landon got hit. Luckily the neighbors
had some butterfly bandaids.

.Little Miss "I can do it myself"
Hannah likes to do everything all by herself, this time is was paint her own nails

Kids Christmas Party...
T, L and M planned out a little party for Christmas, they made assignments and everything.

Poor Hannah slept right through the party

More Stitches?!

Dave dropped the boys off at the school to sled while Caroline, Dave and I packed (6 days before the big move). The boys came home soon after with Tanner hurt. It required stitches, his third time on his chin.

Same day, more sledding, just at home this time

Boxes everywhere

Christmas Eve Fun!

We got beat by Santa this year but it was all okay.

Yay Santa brought Anna!
 Christmas Eve at Home
Tanner was still in pain. He would barely open his mouth to talk or eat.
I made cinnamon rolls and he couldn't even finish one, big deal with him.

Better smiles

Yay for new jammies!
 Christmas Day!

   Lots of Smiles :)

the biggest smile he could manage

Hello mess...does it look like we are moving out in two days?!

 Moving Time

Well Thursday the 26th was closing day and final packing day. We closed first thing in the morning on our new house. We still had no idea when we could move in though, talk about stressful. We then heard from our realtor that we should be fine to move in the following afternoon, we would just need to call the sellers and make sure they were done moving out. Well ha ha she was wrong. We called the sellers the afternoon of the 27th after all our stuff was packed up in the trailers and found out they weren't loading their truck until the following day. We were homeless and we had packed thinking we would unload that day. Clothes and daily necessities were all packed away. The following day was the Fowles Family Christmas, not the best timing for us. Fortunately Camille took charge and said we would start the family party earlier so we could get moved in that afternoon. Yeah for awesome sister n laws, I really didn't want to wait from Friday until Monday to move in. So we crashed at Susan and Mark's house that night. Sadly I got like no pictures from the whole moving thing or the Fowles party.

So late Saturday afternoon we grabbed the trailers and headed to the new house to unload. Luckily lots of great new neighbors showed up to help and it didn't take to long. While the guys ran back to the old house to get all of Dave's garage stuff the girls (Camille, Susan, Angela Lindsay and I) unpacked the kitchen and set up all the beds. Sooo nice!

Here's a couple pics I took 2 days after the move, just a reminder of how much fun it is...

Living Room aka box room for the first while.

Maddie happy to be in our new house
